I cannot believe it has been six months since I sat down to write the publishers letter for our 25th issue. Spring is here, and as all of our brides and
their loved ones are aware, change is everywhere and change is constant. VIP Magazine is no exception. From our numerous new advertisers with a wonderful array of facilities and services, to the renovations and reemergence of some of our long time advertisers, the magazine is always full of fresh ideas for our readers. We are thrilled to welcome these new clients to the VIP family and of course, we are always appreciative of those long term advertisers, many of whom of been in the VIP family for over 13 years.
VIP Magazine is extremely proud of our involvement in A Wedding for Alex, which raised over $34,000 to benefit cancer research through Alex's Lemonade Stand. We want to thank the Omni Hotel at Independence Park and the group of select vendors that contributed their time and services to support this wonderful cause. While the press continues to report the downturn in our national economy, the amount raised through this collaborative effort proves that we can all make a difference, a little bit at a time. I urge all of our brides and grooms-to-be to consider charitable giving as an option when creating their gift registries; it truly is a worthwhile opportunity to make a difference.
In the coming months, expect to see VIP Magazine involved in some new avenues of exposure. Although, as of press time I am unable to disclose the exact nature of these exciting opportunities (as much as I really want to), I believe our blushing brides and dedicated advertisers will be pleased. Stay tuned to www.vipmagazine.com for details.
Best wishes in your planning and future endeavors.
Warmest Regards,
