DIY Wedding Favors

The key to do-it-yourself wedding favors is to be creative and think outside of the box. Wedding favors that pertain to your theme of the wedding or season make a great idea. If you are having a summer wedding the perfect wedding favor is a DIY fan made out of cardstock. These are fun and easy to make. Buy cardstock in colors of your wedding. You can add a delicious cocktail recipe to one side of the fan or a personal thank you. Add your own personal touch with ribbon to complete these wedding favors. Baked goods are always a big hit at weddings, package cookies in a colorful paper bag or take home boxes, add some ribbon and you’re finished. Throwing a rustic wedding? Homemade jam, individual baked apple pies, delectable honey, or individual bags of roasted peanuts are great wedding favors. Add personal labels with the wedding date and a cute rhyme to these favors.

DIY projects for wedding favors will take some time. Remember to be patient and use your creativity. Grab your bridesmaids to help you start the project. Making these projects will take awhile to complete, so begin them as early as possible!
