Something New…Part 2

Need to add “something new” to your wedding? The familiar saying, “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” is an old wives tale that is told to be a good luck charm on your wedding day! Some brides incorporate an item for each part of the poem but others may have forgotten about it. Something new, however, can be fairly easy to accomplish. Something new represents optimism for future and the new life the bride and groom will have together.

The most obvious something new can be your wedding gown. If you opted to wear your mothers wedding gown, something new can be a piece of jewelry you received as a gift from your future mother in law. It may even be your wedding shoes that you just bought or a gift that you have received from you future husband-to-be. It doesn’t matter what item is considered as “something new” just as long as it is memorable to you!

What item will you use as something new?
